My 1st oversea trip to Genting

I went to Genting with Grandma, Da Yi, Er Yi, Uncles & Cousins for a 3D2N short trip. Its my 1st overseas trip and I've tried doing many things 1st time, such as staying in a hotel, bathing in a bathtub, play bowling, go swimming, go for kiddy rides etc.. It's a fun but tiring trip..

Visit to the Jurong Bird Park

Today Daddy & Mummy brought me to the birdpark. The birdpark is much smaller than the zoo and we finished touring around within 2 hours... I like the "bird show" the most as the performance put up by the parrots are very interesting and farnie...

Darryl's Baby Full Month!

We went to 三姨's house to celebrate Darryl Didi's baby full month today. I'm dressed like a ladybug and Jonah kor kor as Superman.... It's like a costume party! hee.. Mummy says Baby Darryl looks exactly like Jonah kor kor when he was a baby..

Visit to the Zoo!

Daddy and Mummy brought me to the zoo today. Its my first visit there and I enjoyed myself very much, as I've always like animals but can only see cats, dogs & birds in my neighbourhood. So it's an eye-opener for me to see the other animals that I often watch on baby videos come live in front of me!

How time flies, I will be turning one on 19th May, so Daddy & Mummy held a simple celebration at home today. 婆婆prepared lotsa food & Daddy bought a nice ice-cream cake from Swensens to celebrate this special occasion. I've received lotsa presents from uncles & aunties, ranging from books, toys, clothes & ang pows... Gee... I'm so happy.. how I wish it's my birthday everyday! =D

Baby Contest

Daddy and Mummy brought me to Yio Chu Kang CC to participate in a healthy baby and most photogenic baby contest today.... I was very well-behaved and did my best for the photo-taking even though I was already very sleepy... Mummy thought that I could at least win the consolation prize as she feels that I'm one of the cutest baby around (老王卖瓜) hehe... But to her disappointment, I did not win any prizes.... I tink must be my botak hair that caused me to lose marks... but nevermind Mummy, I am happy as long as I noe I'm the perfect baby in you and Daddy's heart!

We celebrated grandma's birthday at Himawari Japanese Restaurant today... It's a buffet dinner, so Mummy must be the happiest, cos she can eat unlimited plates of her fav sashimi while I can only sit at one corner, eating the tasteless tofu and say "mum mum" at Mummy's mouth-watering sushis and hotpot... How I look forward to my one year old birthday, so that I can start eating tasty food with seasoning... keke...

Trip to Botanic Garden

Daddy and Mummy brought me to Botanic Garden today as Mummy wanted to take some nice pictures of me to participate in a baby contest. Daddy and Mummy went to the food court 1st to fill their hungry stomach before we proceed to take a stroll in the gardens. I was quite cooperative at 1st and posed for a few smiley shots for Mummy before 周公came waving his hands at me... So ended up, I looked sleepy in most of the pics that Mummy took of me =P

Chinese New Year

This is the first time I'm celebrating CNY and receiving ang pows... We 1st went to 爷爷's place to 拜年before going to great-grandpa and other relatives' house. It's such a frightening experience as there are so many strangers looking at me, stuff ang pow in my hands, comment on my look and even attempt to carry me... So I just clinged on to Mummy and Daddy and occasionally perform the 恭喜恭喜trick to impress them and earn more ang pows... keke...

Kyler 弟弟！

Kyler 弟弟is born in Mt Alvernia Hospital today! He is 大姨's 2nd child and 外婆's 5th grandchild... Kyler arrived just one day before his kor kor, Kevin's 2 year old birthday.... So we celebrated Kevin kor kor birthday together in the hospital...

First Christmas!

Daddy, Mummy and me went to Aunty Leyen's house on Christmas Eve to celebrate Christmas together with Mummy's JC friends. Aunty Leyen's mummy likes babies, so she carried me around the house, while lazy Mummy sat down and chit chat with her friends.... There's a cute little doggie in the house and I enjoyed myself playing with her =)
This Christmas, I've received lotsa presents from Daddy, Mummy, Uncles, Aunties and cousins. However, I still do not know how to unwrap them with my hands, so I use my 2 front teeth to bite the wrappers instead.. hehe

East Coast Park

Went to Janice's baby shower with Daddy and Mummy @The Warren condominium. Janice's Daddy, Uncle Sunny is Daddy's Primary school classmate. I enjoyed crawling around on the red sofa and looking at the sumptuous buffet and beautiful kueys made by Janice's Grandma.. hehe..

It's Beverly jie jie's 2nd birthday tomorrow, so 二姨held a simple celebration at 婆婆's house today. 婆婆prepared BBQ steamboat dinner and 二姨bought a delicious chocolate cake. After singing the birthday song, everyone had a piece of the mouth-watering cake except me! 婆婆secretly gave me a small tiny bite to ease my craving for the cake... It taste so yummy! I also want chocolate cake for my birthday!

My First Excursion

Daddy and Mummy brought me out for my 1st excursion @Sentosa today... Oh.. I was soo excited.. We first went to Vivo City for our breakfast, then we took a train to Sentosa... It's my first time taking the Sentosa Express, I was so facinated by it that I kept smiling on the train... An indian tourist even came over to pose for a pic with me, upon seeing how jovial I was.. hee.. We alighted at the Imbiah Station and went sight-seeing around. As it was drizzling a little, we only stayed awhile on the island, took a few pics and had some snacks @The Skybar.. Overall, it's a wonderful outing for me... Mummy said I was well-behaved and she can plan for more excursions for me.... Yeah!

Today, I went to 三姨婆house to celebrate baby Joy's full month. She is mummy's cousin's daughter, so I'm promoted to 表姐now.. hehe.. The 姨婆s had not seen me since my baby full month, so they find me a big baby now, especially when I'm placed beside baby Joy =)

My New Walker!

Daddy and Mummy decided to get a walker for me, as I showed interest in trying to stand and jump... So we went to ToysRus @Paragon together with 爷爷，奶奶 to shop for one. They had dinner first at Mum's Cuisine Restaurant before we proceed to ToysRus. There are only 2 types of walker there, so Daddy put me in both walkers to try out which one suits me more. I seem to look happier while I'm sitting in the orange crab walker, so Daddy decided to buy it for me. When we reached home, they realised that walkers are not recommended for babies below 6 months old. So I'll have to wait for another one month before I can sit inside my Mr Crabby... hai... so disappointing!

I will be turning 4 months old in 4 days time, so 奶奶held a simple ceremony for Jun Xiang Kor Kor and me. She cooked a few simple dishes, such as steamed fish, chicken and 鸡蛋面线 for us to taste.. Yeah! Finally I can have a taste of food other than Mummy's milk... =)~~

Mummy's birthday

Today is mummy's 28th birthday. Daddy gave Mummy a bouquet of roses and brought us to Spageddies Italian Kitchen at Tanglin Mall for dinner... However, I was very cranky and refused to sit down quietly in my pram, so Daddy and Mummy cannot have their dinner in peace and have to take turns to carry me... keke

My First 6-in-1 Jab

Daddy and mummy brought me to the Alexandra Family Clinic for my 1st 6-in-1 jab today. The nurse took my weight, height and head circumference which is 6.47kg, 60.5cm and 41cm respectively. After filling in the health booklet checklist to monitor my development progress, the doctor proceeded to give me that dreadful jab, while daddy held on to me and mummy standby the pacifier to calm me down... Surprisingly, I only cried a few sound then behaved as though nuthing had happened... Daddy said I was a brave girl... keke..

After leaving the clinic, daddy and mummy went for their breakfast, while I can only sit on daddy's lap craving for the chee cheong fan and lor mai kai... =)~~ Mummy said I can start eating fruits and brown rice only when I'm 4 months old.. how I wish that day will come soon...

Haoting Sis's 21st Birthday!

This is the 2nd birthday celebration I have attended this month. It was held at Coast Sands Resort (Sentosa). I went there with daddy, mummy, 爷爷and 奶奶 @around 6pm.. Hmm.. seem like I was the youngest guest there.. keke.. Haoting sis's friends said that I'm cute and they took turns to pose for photos with me... Ohh.. i feel like a superstar.. hehe

Great Grandpa's Birthday

Today is great-grandpa's 91st birthday. We had a simple celebration at one of the grand-uncle's condo. I wore a little white dress with small pink flora print that daddy bought for me before I was born. For relatives who did not attend my 1st month celebration, this is the 1st time they have seen me and most of them commented that I resembles daddy alot... Mummy's back to work!

Mummy went back to work today after taking 2.5 months of maternity leave and 外婆 will be looking after me while she's at work. Luckily Mummy still has over 30 days of leave to clear, so she can afford to take the afternoon off everyday until the end of Oct 07. Mummy pasted 3 of my cute photos in her workstation and will look at them whenever she missed me. Her colleagues who saw my pics all said that I resembles Daddy more... keke

I'm 2 months old today.. no longer the 吃饱就睡的 one month old bb.. I'm more responsive to my surroundings, smiles more often and can converse with people using my goo goo gaga bb language. I've almost outgrown all my clothes and can even fit nicely into clothes meant for 6 mths old bb.. Look at my chubby cheeks and 双下巴and you will know why I've got nicknames such as 小胖妞，圆圆and tweety bird.. argh..

First Visit to Polyclinic

Today is my first visit to the Queenstown polyclinic for my growth monitoring and 2nd Hep B jab. The nurse took my weight, height and head circumference. Here's a photo of me on the weighing scale. I'm now 4.75kg at 5 weeks old, gained 1.25kg since birth. Daddy say I am 小胖妹.

My Baby Full Month Celebration

Yeah! Finally I'm One Month old.. Mummy must be the happiest, cos she no longer need to be confined at home and follow a strict confinement diet. My full month celebration was a lunch buffet at The Dragon Restaurant in Depot Heights Shopping Centre. It was held on 16th June, together with cousin Junxiang. More than 100+ relatives and friends of Daddy and Mummy attended my full month celebration but I just slept throughout the 3 hour lunch buffet, waking up only twice to cry for milk.. keke.

My Favourite Past-Time

My favourite past-time is definitely sleeping, I slept so much during my 1st month that my visitors hardly get to see me when I'm awake... keke. Of course I do wake up 3 hourly to cry for my milk milk. Mummy says I'm a 乖宝宝 as this gives her ample time to relax and do her own stuff during her confinement.
For the aunties and uncles who din get to see me when I'm awake, here's how I look like when I'm awake and smiling =)

After a 4D3N stay at the hospital, Mummy and I were given the green light to go home after the doctors ensured that both of us are fine and I've got no jaundice. Grandma will come over to help Mummy with the confinement until I'm 1 month old.

Hi, my name is Charlotte Yong Xin Yu, 楊心瑀。I was born on 19th May 2007, at Gleneagles Hospital. I weigh 3.51kg and measured 54.5cm long at birth, quite an ideal size for a bb that had arrived 2 weeks earlier.
I'm Daddy & Mummy's 1st baby, the 4th grandchild at mummy's side and 2nd grandchild at daddy's side (though I'm merely 3 days younger than my 堂哥). Here are the pictures taken with my cousins.
